FOUR PAWS – Animal Welfare ASBL complies with the provisions of the Code of Companies and Associations (CSA). In the event of a dispute, the Registry of the French-speaking Court of Brussels (Greffe du Tribunal Francophone de Bruxelles) shall have jurisdiction.

The role of FOUR PAWS – Animal Welfare ASBL is to assist the organization in its mission to be a strong, global and independent voice for animals under human control.

Code of Conduct 

FOUR PAWS has a comprehensive Code of Conduct that serves as a compass for all employees, interns, volunteers, and partners, emphasizing workplace integrity, ethical behavior, and the highest standards of quality in animal welfare. It includes policies on anti-fraud, safety, and donor management.

• Integrity and Ethics: Committed to doing the right thing for animals and people, with strict standards against corruption, fraud, harassment, and discrimination.
• Animal Welfare Commitment: Focused on protecting animals in their care, promoting species-appropriate keeping conditions, and fighting to end animal suffering.
• Professional Conduct: Ensures that all representatives maintain professionalism, respect, and safety in all dealings, whether in offices or field projects.
• Reporting Misconduct: Encourages the reporting of any, including past, violations of the Code of Conduct or legal obligations through secure, confidential channels.
